Cannabis was first cultivated in China around 4000 B.C. It grows as weed and cultivated plant all over the world in a variety of climates and soils. There are three main types of Marijuana: Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Ruderalis. Interesting fact about marijuana is that marijuana cures/prevents more than 100 diseases including cancer and depression.医療大麻(medical cannabis)には鎮痛作用、沈静作用、催眠作用、食欲増進作用、抗癌作用などがあり、アメリカでは自己治療ため大麻を使用している慢性痛患者もいる。
