Domestic cats, no matter their breed, are all members of one species. Felis catus*リビア・ヤマネコ* has had a very long relationship with humans. Ancient Egyptians may have first domesticated cats as early as 4,000 years ago. Plentiful rodents probably drew wild felines*猫科* to human communities. The cats' skill in killing them may have first earned the affectionate*人懐っこい* attention of humans.
Cats communicate by marking trees, fence posts*支柱*, or furniture with their claws or their waste. These scent posts are meant to inform others of a cat's home range. House cats employ a vocal repertoire that extends from a purr*猫がゴロゴロと喉を鳴らす* to a screech*甲高い声*.
Domestic cats remain largely carnivorous, and have evolved a simple gut appropriate for raw meat. They also retain the rough tongue that can help them clean every last morsel*少量* from an animal bone (and groom themselves). Their diets vary with the whims*気まぐれ* of humans, however, and can be supplemented by the cat's own hunting successes.

Le Japon présente la technologie du Shinkansen en Australie

Des ingénieurs japonais ont présenté la technologie du Shinkansen lors d'un séminaire sur les trains à grande vitesse, qui avait lieu à Sydney.

L'Australie envisage en effet de construire une ligne ferroviaire*レール* à grande vitesse reliant*接続する* Sydney et Brisbane, une autre ville de la côte*海岸* est, à Melbourne, dans le sud, sur une distance de 1 700 kilomètres.

Le gouvernement australien devrait commencer cette année une étude*研究* de faisabilité sur une section de la ligne envisagée.

Une centaine de responsables du gouvernement australien et chefs d'entreprises ont participé ce mercredi au séminaire, initiative du secteur privé.

Un représentant de la Société nationale des chemins de fer français a expliqué de son côté les avantages du TGV, l'équivalent français et concurrent du Shinkansen.

Food intolerance　食物不耐

ImuPro n’est pas un diagnostic des allergies alimentaires mais une analyse très détaillée des intolérances alimentaires par la recherche d’IgG spécifiques (anticorps) à divers aliments.
Les intolérances alimentaires sont tout à fait différentes des allergies. Elles sont très fréquentes et se développent au fur et à mesure de la vie d’un individu et souvent de façon spontanée. Dès la naissance, le nourrisson peut déjà être sensibilisé vis-à-vis de différents aliments par l’intermédiaire du lait maternel. Le plus compliqué est que les symptômes d’une intolérance alimentaire sont, contrairement à l’allergie, extrêmement variés, peuvent même ressembler à ceux d’une allergie et se manifestent souvent seulement des heures ou des journées après l’ingestion des aliments.

Qu’est-ce que le cancer de l’estomac?
L’estomac est un organe musculaire en forme de sac, logé dans la partie supérieure de l’abdomen. L’estomac fait partie du système digestif, lequel est composé de différents organes dont le rôle est de transformer les aliments en énergie et d’éliminer les déchets de l’organisme.

Absorbés par la bouche, les aliments traversent l’œsophage pour parvenir à l’estomac, où ils sont mélangés à des sucs digestifs (enzymes et acides) sécrétés par les glandes tapissant la paroi de l’estomac. Le mélange semi-solide qui en résulte quitte ensuite l’estomac par une ouverture entourée d’un muscle en forme d’anneau, appelé sphincter pylorique, et pénètre d’abord dans l’intestin grêle puis dans le côlon, où la digestion se termine.

字が大きく読みやすそうな本だった。

日本の教育費はかなり高いけどフランスでは教育費(frais d'éducation)はほとんどかからない。また塾(cours privé)も通わないとのこと。

Cannabis was first cultivated in China around 4000 B.C. It grows as weed and cultivated plant all over the world in a variety of climates and soils. There are three main types of Marijuana: Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Ruderalis. Interesting fact about marijuana is that marijuana cures/prevents more than 100 diseases including cancer and depression.

医療大麻(medical cannabis)には鎮痛作用、沈静作用、催眠作用、食欲増進作用、抗癌作用などがあり、アメリカでは自己治療ため大麻を使用している慢性痛患者もいる。

Yoga

Yoga brings together*一つにする* the mind, body and spirit. The practice of yoga includes ethical disciplines, physical postures, breathing control and meditation.

Cordyceps 冬虫夏草

Cordyceps manipulates insect's brain forcing him to climb the plant or tree, and upon reaching to the top grows out of his head or body! In human beings, it enters through the ears, germinates*成長する* in the mind, causes the host to destroy rival communities, and exits via the mouth, and infects others.

Cordyceps has components that may inhibit coagulation, making it potentially beneficial in stroke and heart attack prevention. A hot water extract of the fungus appeared to stimulate the immune system. In other studies, which have reported that Cordyceps may be useful in treating Hepatitis B. A study from Thailand reported that Cordyceps nipponica might be of value in the treating malaria.

Another review concluded that Cordyceps might be promising as a possible support for heart & lung function.

Interesting fact is that Chinese Olympic athletes use this fungi to improve their performance and stamina.

キノコである「冬虫夏草」は昆虫に寄生して体内に侵入し栄養分を吸収する。暖かくなると発芽して地上に姿を現す。

生薬として健肺、強壮効果、抗がん効果があるとも言われ、健康食品として利用されている。ある陸上競技選手は冬虫夏草エキスを摂取して好成績を残した。

確かドラッグストアに売ってたっけ。色々な効果があるんだな。

店やレストランに行くとすごく混んでいるので「あっお盆休みだからか」と気が付く。

VY Canis Majoris おおいぬ座VY星

VY Canis Majoris is the largest star known to man. It is a red Hypergiant, located in the Milky way and measuring between 1800 to 2100 solar radii(radiusの複数形). One Radius(半径) is equal to the current radius of the Sun and it is approximately 432,450 miles (695,500 kilometers). VY Canis Majoris is so large that if our Sun were replaced by it, its surface would extend to (or maybe even pass) the orbit of Saturn. In Earth terms it would take 70 000 000 000 000 000 (70 quadrillion(10の15乗)) Earths to fill up the VY Canis Majoris.

おおいぬ座VY星（VY Canis Majoris）は、おおいぬ座にある赤色超巨星であり、2010年現在確認された中で最も大きい恒星の最有力候補である。この星の直径は推定25億 - 30億kmで、太陽の1,800倍 - 2,100倍、体積にして太陽の60億 - 90億倍。

癌ワクチン PROVENGE

A "vaccine" which harnesses the body's own immune system to fight prostate cancer has been approved for use by US drug regulators. Provenge - which is designed to be used in men with advanced disease - is the first of its kind to be accepted by the Food and Drug Administration.

FDAが「PROVENGE」を前立腺癌患者の治療に用いることを承認したと発表した。

This latest therapy is made by collecting special blood cells from each patient that help the immune system recognise cancer as a threat. It is an expensive treatment at $93,000 per patient.

Provengeは患者自身の白血球細胞から作られる前立腺がんワクチンである。
Provenge治療は高額ではあるけど副作用が少なく臨床データも良好。

最近は自分でレッスンのトピックを選べるようになった。

Folic acid 葉酸

Women to take 400 mcg of folic acid every day. Folic acid is a B vitamin. Everyone needs folic acid. It can help prevent major birth defects of the baby's brain and spine (*anecephaly and spina bifida) by starting at least one month before getting pregnant.

Anencephaly-Congenital absence of most of the brain and spinal cord.

Spina bifida-is a serious birth abnormality in which the spinal cord is malformed and lacks its usual protective skeletal and soft tissue coverings.

サプリメントはここ数年飲んでいない。野菜、果物からだけでは十分なビタミンやミネラルは摂取できないと言われている。数年前から週に何回かオリゴメール（ブルターニュの海水を凍結乾燥させた入浴剤）に入っている。ミネラルを肌から直接吸収することができるとのこと。
