Il y a eu de nombreuses catastrophes naturelles liées au réchauffement de la planète.
地球温暖化に関連した自然災害が頻繁に起こっている。

En cent ans, la température moyenne a augmenté de 0,4℃.
この100年で平均気温が0.4度上昇。

Le niveau de la mer qui a déjà augmenté de 15 à 20 cm en cent ans.
また海面も15～20センチ上昇。

一昨日は歌の練習はしないで帰ったけど次回は参加しよう♪

太陽

今日のレッスン：Sun
#1: Do you prefer the rising or setting sun?

I prefer to the rising sun. I am energized to see the sunrise, and I feel a little sad at the sunset. I have different moods with the rising and setting sun.

#2: Do you protect yourself from the UV rays of the sun?

I put UV cream before going outside and using an umbrella. I had the sun allergy before so I have to be cautious with the direct sunlight.

マングローブ

Comment ça marche: Les mangroves vivent dans les marais salins. La plupart des espèces résistent à la chaleur et à la salinité extrême.

Celle des racines ont la fonction des ultra filtrantes. Elles absorbent sélectivement dans l'eau, délaissant jusqu'à 97% du sodium

マングローブの多くは耐暑性・耐塩性で塩性湿地に生息。またマングローブの根は優れた濾過機能を有しているため、海水の塩分を97％除去し、選択的に水を吸収することができる。

ケアンズのマングローブジャングル面白かった (^_^)！クルージングの船は揺れないし、クリームスコーンもおいしかった （＾ｕ＾）

ショッピングモール

T:「今日のレッスンはこれで最後・・」昼前に受けた。
T:「午後は近所のモールへ行って帰るのは多分夜遅く。ジムもある。」と話していた。ランチ、カフェ、ショッピング・・何でもあるから帰りは遅いんだな。

引越してからはショッピングモールに行くことが多くなった。何でもあるけどあちこち歩き回るからいつもヘトヘト ^_^;

今日のレッスン　environment

Tell about one thing you do to help the environment.

洗濯物を洗うときは合成洗剤ではなく数年前からヤシ油＆パーム油の石鹸を使用することにした。

How often do you turn off the lights when you leave the room?

ほとんどの部屋の電球をLEDライトに替えたのでそんなに豆には消していない。最初LEDの色に違和感があったけどだんだん慣れていった。

「環境」は一年前にも受けたので質問は途中から始まった。「スクール側でどこまで終えたかちゃんと記録しているんだなぁ」とちょっと感心してしまった。

普段は行かないイタリアンでバルサコミ酢仕立ての鶏肉パスタを頼んだ。肉は柔らかかったけどちょっと微妙な味だった。

今日のレッスン　light bulbs
The European Union began a switch to more energy-efficient light bulbs. The new bulbs can provide energy savings of up to 75 per cent compared to the traditional ones. However, the energy-saving bulbs give many people suffer from bad headaches and skin problems and vomiting.

EUはエネルギー効率の良い電球の使用を促進している。新しいタイプの電球は従来のものに比べ75%の節電ができるが、多くの人は頭痛、肌のトラブル、吐き気を訴えている。

春分

なんとなくヨガのポーズを取りながらベリーの動きもしてみた（奇妙な動きなので部屋でしか出来ない）。特に背骨の周りがほぐれる感じですっきりした。

春分の日「昼と夜の長さが同じになる」と言われているが実際は昼の方が長い。

今日のレッスン　Driest Place

"Driest Place on Earth" is located in the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile. One recorded rainfall in the last 400 years. In this desert there is an observatory of NASA that studying the mars. The average rainfall in this region is only 1 millimeter per year. Researchers also discovered a new species of lizard found only in this desert.

チリのアタカマ砂漠では400年以上雨が降っていない。年間平均降水量はたったの1 mm。火星調査のためNASAの天文台が設置されている。この地域にのみ生息する新種のトカゲも発見されている。

スカイプはビデオを使用すると音が悪くなるのでたいていボイスのみ。ビデオはオフなのに今日はクラスメートの声がよく聞こえなかった。マイクの種類によっては音がクリアでないことがある。

地震対策

ピーラーでじゃがいもの皮を剥いていたら指を切ってしまった。普段は関節周りに光線治療器を当てているが怪我の範囲が小さいため今日は集光用ガラス管を使用。止血にも有効で痛みもほとんど治まった。便利なので手放せない。

Chemical Safety

昨日フラダンスの直前に地震が来た。天井の機材の揺れがなかなか止まらずちょっと怖かった。

世界種子貯蔵庫 Global Seed Vault

今日のレッスン　世界種子貯蔵庫
地球上の種子を冷凍保存する世界最大の施設「スヴァールバル世界種子貯蔵庫」。大規模で深刻な気候変動や自然災害、（植物の）病気の蔓延、核戦争等に備えて農作物種の絶滅を防ぐ。

Svalbard Global Seed vault was established to preserve a wide variety of plant seeds in an underground cavern. It is an assurance to reduce of hunger & poverty due to the national disaster.

品種改良*breed improvementされた作物は見た目はきれいだけど様々な環境に対して抵抗力は弱いと言われている。そのため現在栽培されていない農作物の種子もいざという時のために保存する。

最近のトマトなど風味がなくなったと思う。子供の頃に食べた野菜は美味しかったなぁ。

地球の日 DÍA DE LA TIERRA

今日のレッスン　地球の日

4月22日は「地球の日」で全世界へ広まっていった。このことによりアメリカでは各種環境保護法などが整備された。

日本においては4月頃アースデイに関連する催しや取り組みが継続的に行われている。

アマゾン Amazon

今日のレッスン　アマゾン
アマゾン川は南米のブラジルとその周辺国のアマゾン熱帯雨林を流れ、世界最大の河川である。アマゾン川の本流の水の色はコーヒーのように茶褐色に濁っているが、きれいな清水のような水が流れている支流*tributaryもある。

アマゾン川の流域面積*basin areaは世界最大であり、水の量は世界の全河川の3分の2に当たる膨大な量である。アマゾン川流域には豊かで多様性に富んだ動植物が数多く見られる。魚類ではピラニア*piranhaや淡水*freshwater化したサメやエイ*rayなど2,000種類以上が発見されている。

大潮*spray tideの時に海水と川の流れがぶつかり合い、大きな波となって川を遡る現象が発生する。この現象をポロロッカという。

The Amazon River is the largest river in the world with a total discharge greater than the next ten largest rivers combined.

It is the richest tropical forest in the world in terms of biodiversity. There are over 2,100 species of fish currently recognized in the Amazon Basin, with more being discovered every year.

冷房設備　le climatiseur

フランスでは公共機関にあまり冷房設備がないため最近の猛暑はやはり辛いらしい。「日本も暑いけれど電車にはクーラーがあるのでほっとするし、コンビニやパチンコがいっぱいあるので中に入ってよく涼んでた」と言っていた。

オゾン層　l'ozonosphère

またオゾン層破壊のため紫外線*l'ultravioletが強いのでニュージーランド（日本に来る前に滞在していた）では日焼け*bronzageには気を付けていたとのこと。

原発　une central nucléaire

フランスでは原子力発電を中心としてエネルギーを供給*approvisionnerしている。原発事故は起こっているけどチェルノブイリほどの大きい事故は起きていない。日本も漏洩*une fuite事故などを起こしている。政府の対応の遅れ*le retard du gouvernement à prendre mesuresが問題となっている。
