蜂蜜
花から得られる糖分と水分、ミツバチ体内の転化酵素が濃縮された物質。
花粉
幼虫の餌やローヤルゼリーの原料とするため、花粉をだんご状にして巣に蓄える。主に乾燥物が健康食品として利用されている。
Pollen
Bees collect pollen in the pollen basket. In the hive, pollen is used as a protein source necessary. It is often eaten as a health supplement.
蜜蝋
ミツバチが体内で合成し分泌する物質。蜜蝋自体は食品とはならないがワックス、石鹸、クリーム、口紅、蝋燭などの原料として利用される。
Beeswax
Worker bees will secrete beeswax from glands on their abdomens. They use the wax to form the walls. As with honey, beeswax is gathered for various purposes.
久しぶりに蜂蜜食べよう。蜜蝋といえばお風呂でのキャンドルセラピーもいいな。水面の陰影がゆらゆら揺れ心地良い。
